This was the calmest I have ever seen the water. The sand was really clean and fluffy too. The water was super warm. The high tide was 8 am so all day we got more and more beach as the tide went out. The sky was so clear we could see more and more of the oil rigs way out in the water. There were lots of fish in the water too. They were about a foot long and swimming in schools of 6 to 10 of them. You could see them every where when you were in the water. Jim and I played catch with the foot ball a lot in the water to stay cool. It was 93 degrees when we got there but got hotter. |
