Fountain at the Belagio. It goes very often unless it is windy.  Music goes in the back ground and it tries to go to the music.  Not as good as the fire works at Lac Lemy but ok

Across the road from the Belagio is the Paris.  It is a lot smaller than the real  tower but still pretty cool.  The Arc de Triomph is to the right of it as an entrance to a restaurant.  Inside the lobby you can catch a ride to the top.  We ate at the base on the patio overlooking all the people.  Inside the ceiling is like the sky just like in the venetian below.

This is in the venetian... yes inside... that sky is ceiling.  The gondolas went back and forth through the hotel.  In the main lobby there were many beautiful paintings on the ceilings and walls.

This is still in the Venetian... yes still inside.  The white guy is a guy not a statue.  Lots of court jester shows here and opera singing.

Flower gardens in the Wynn.  Those coloured balls are real flowers.

After two days of walking end to end of the strip we stayed at the pool in our hotel for a little rest.  The background towers are still our hotel.  We stayed in the Excalibur.

One night we walked to Freemont Street.  Those lights on top are a lit screen that stretches from one side to the other of the street.  This is the old Vegas where the Golden Nugget Hotel Casino etc are.

This is still Freemont St.  On the roof they even projected the band during the live concert that night.  Note the  person ziplining... that black dot in the middle... they zip over the crowd end to end.
I can now take Vegas off of my Bucket List.  Been there done that.
We didn't get to Vegas Friday night.  Our plane was stuck in Chicago to get repaired so they put us on an Air Canada plane and we went to Toronto instead and stayed at an airport hotel and then flew direct the next morning and got there around 10:30.  We were supposed to take three flights and get there around 1 am their time so it ended up better any way.
Booked into the Excalibur and then started walking.  Got tickets for the Chris Angel show that night and then went through the Luxor next door and then on to Mandalay Bay where we went through their aquarium.  Lots of sharks, sting rays, jelly fish etc.  Smaller version of Sea World but I saw the biggest octopus that I have ever seen.  He was climbing the glass.  He was bigger than me.  I thought that I had a picture of him but I have lost all of my pictures from the first day.  Jim says that Chris Angel must have made them disappear when I left his show that night.  After the aquarium we walked the other way from our hotel.  First was NY NY building... has the statue of liberty out front...Brooklyn bridge end to end of the buildings which have been built to match the landscape of NY.  Across from NY NY was the MGM which we went through looking for the Lions but they were renovating so none to be found.  We walked through every major hotel on the strip and dropped a dollar in a lot of them in their slot machines.  The architecture is beautiful with lots of Razzle Dazzle.  At night we also saw the volcano erupt at the Mirage and then next door to it we saw the outdoor pirate show at Treasure Island.  We went around the midway at Circus Circus and saw the Trapeze show.  We went through the Stratosphere but did not go up and try any of the bungee jumping kinda stuff.  When we went to the old vegas we did walk there but it was still day light.  We definitely took a cab back because we were scared and our legs were tired from walking ALL DAY.
