We closed on the house on Wednesday night around 7 at night. Jim worked all that night and Thursday sealing all of the grout. Each trip down to the house we would take a load of stuff and unload and put it away and the go back to the apt for another day. Today we even started hanging pictures. We have to wait to hang the rest of them until I get them back from the store. I am having the kitchen crewel ones that I did stretched and they are going to separate them from the glass. I also have the framing the needlepoint that I just finished. I order another background for the roses too so will wait until I get them all back before we decide where we will hang those ones. The movers come on Monday so then we won't have to keep going back and forth. They will move the bed, washer and dryer and the living room furniture. We bought a sectional and a fridge so we can stay at the house in the day time and just have to go back to the apt to sleep. The living room will look more filled up when we get the loveseat and my chair and a half in. We thought we were going to put them in one of the bedrooms but there is tons of room in the living room for them. They don't match the sectional but they will be a place to seat rather than on the floor. Sparky is really confused going back and forth but so far loves it here we think.
